From my experience as a makeup professional, I believe the best makeup look is not always the most dramatic one. It is the look that complements your facial features, personal style, skin tone, outfit, and the occasion while still making you feel like yourself.
When I work with a client, I first look at their face shape, features, skin type, complexion, and natural proportions. I also consider their eye shape when choosing eyeshadow and eyeliner techniques, as well as their face shape when deciding how to place blush, contour, and highlighter.
The occasion also plays an important role. A soft, natural look may be perfect for a daytime event, while a wedding, party, or evening function may call for more defined makeup. I always discuss the client’s preferences before creating the final look because comfort and confidence are just as important as the makeup itself.
For me, makeup should enhance your natural beauty rather than hide it. I never believe that one makeup style suits everyone. My approach is always personalised, focusing on what makes each client’s features unique.
My goal is to create a makeup look that feels beautiful, balanced, and comfortable, while helping every client walk away feeling confident, elegant, and completely themselves.
