Why Sunscreen Is Important Every Day

From my experience in skincare, one of the simplest pieces of advice I give my clients is to make sunscreen a part of their everyday routine. Many people remember sunscreen when going to the beach or spending a long time outdoors, but daily sun protection is important even during ordinary days.

Regular exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation can contribute to premature skin ageing, uneven pigmentation, and other forms of sun damage. This is why I encourage my clients to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen as part of their morning skincare routine.

I also believe that choosing the right sunscreen is important. The texture and formula should feel comfortable on your skin and suit your individual skin type. If you have oily, dry, sensitive, or combination skin, I prefer to recommend a product that fits your routine rather than suggesting the same option to everyone.

Sunscreen is also not a one-time step. When spending extended time outdoors, it may need to be reapplied according to the product’s directions, particularly after sweating or swimming.

For me, sunscreen is not just another skincare product—it is a simple daily habit that helps protect the work you put into your skincare routine.

Healthy-looking skin starts with consistent protection. My goal is to help every client build practical skincare habits that they can maintain every day, not just before a special occasion.
